La grammatica
I’d tell you this: la d in inglese è la contrazione sia di would (verbo modale usato per costruire il condizionale: I’d like a cup of tea, please), sia di had (passato e participio passato di to have, usato come ausiliare per fare il trapassato: I had eaten; He had gone).
Notare queste due espressioni idiomatiche molto diffuse che usano d:
1. I’d rather + inf senza to, dove la d sta per would e significa “preferirei”. I’d rather have tea, please, “Preferirei del te, per favore”.
2. I’d better + inf senza to, dove la d sta per had e significa “sarebbe meglio se”. You’d better go now, “Sarebbe meglio se andassi”.
I’m wishing I could find: wish è un verbo regolare che significa “desiderare”. È simile a would like anche se wish contiene l’idea di un desiderio irrealizzabile.
Es.: I wish I could speak English, “Vorrei saper parlare inglese” (ma non riesco); I wish you wouldn't always come home so late, “Vorrei che non tornassi a casa sempre così tardi”; I would like to speak English, “Vorrei parlare inglese” (è probabile che lo sappia o capiterà).
Nell’inglese formale wish può sostituire want. Es.: I wish to speak to the director - I want to speak to the director, “Desidero parlare con il direttore”.
Infine wish si usa per esprimere un augurio. I/we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, “Vi auguriamo Buon Natale e felice Anno Nuovo”.
I tell my heart: to tell/told/told e to say/said/said corrispondono all’italiano “dire” sebbene il loro uso sia differente; to tell significa “dire” nel senso di “narrare” o “ordinare” ed è seguito dal complemento oggetto; to say è seguito dalla preposizione to + la persona.
How am I supposed to feel: il verbo to suppose è un sinonimo di “pensare, immaginare, supporre”. Es.: I suppose you are French, “Credo che voi siate francesi”.
Attenzione! To be supposed to + infinito = should, ossia equivale al condizionale di “dovere”. Es.: In France you’re not supposed to walk on the grass in the parks, but in Canada you can, “In Francia non devi calpestare l’erba nei parchi, ma in Canada puoi”.

Abbina il verbo to get + preposizione con il sinonimo giusto. Poi traducile.
